GPS DE USI Risk Management – Assistant Manager (Full-time)
USI Risk Management team provides support to the Government and Public Services (GPS) State, Local & Higher Education (SLHE) Sector Risk Managers and engagement teams. Service capabilities provided by the team help in reviewing customer solicitations, analyzing business and legal risk, identifying contractual risks, suggesting risk mitigations, and deploying structured contract management processes for compliance of contractual commitments and deliverables.
Work you’ll do
• Conduct RFP analysis
• Review Request for Proposals (RFP) and develop appropriate exceptions documents
• Conduct risk review of contractual documents including Statement of Work, Engagement Letter, Change Order, Proposal
• Collaborate with business risk managers to negotiate contract arrangements
• Identify key contractual terms and requirements including obligations and deliverables
• Periodically monitor and report on contractual obligations and deliverables
• Support review of Statements of Work and other contract types
• Other ad hoc Risk Management support activities as required
Qualifications
• Law graduate and/or Contract Manager
• 7-10 years in business risk and/or contract management
• Proficiency in understanding business contract terms and conditions
• Experience in identifying contractual and business risks, and suggesting risk mitigations
• Experience of working on commercial or public sector contracts
• Excellent analytic and presentation skills
• Good relationship management skills
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Proficiency in the use of MS Office - Word, Basic Excel and PowerPoint
