Role Responsibilities
Strategy
• This role is within the Client Lifecycle Design and Management (CLDM) Global Process Owner Support (GPOS) team to support the governance of Client Lifecycle Processes for Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking (CCIB) business
Process Owner Support
• Develop a detailed understanding of all areas within the process supported (i.e. Offboarding and Dormancy)
• Support Offboarding Process Owner responsibilities at each stage of the RCSA, from new process and risk identification through to monitoring and implement controls, on a minimum of an annual basis or when a trigger event occurs (e.g., a change in control effectiveness).
• Ensure all agreed elevated residual risk actions and treatment plans are completed in a timely manner by all action owners and logged into the Group OR management system.
• Identify risks and dependencies within Offboarding process, assess impact on critical processes and residual risk and help escalate & track until resolution.
• Highlight risks to management and actively monitor them to reduce the likelihood of occurrence. Ongoing control monitoring of the minimum control requirements set out in the policy and procedures to ensure that if a key control activity stops working, or operates outside its normal operating conditions, it will be quickly detected in the ordinary course of line management.
• Coordinate with countries and hubs or testing teams
• Co-ordinate implementation of improvement actions across countries and hubs
• Support the group team on projects and ad hoc requests
• Be an effective link between Group team, hub teams and countries.
• Support updates to Process standards/DOI’s based on changes
People and Talent
• Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and work with minimal management oversight
• Interpersonal skills in networking, influencing and decision taking
• Subject matter expertise in CDD and CLM system and process
• Strong communication skills
