Aspen View Public Schools, with a division office located in the town of Athabasca, is a rural school division providing diverse and innovative programming to students in a number of communities. The division is unique in that it is surrounded by a multitude of lakes, golf courses and trails that appeal to an active, outdoor lifestyle while still being in close proximity to larger urban centers.
Many schools within Aspen View are geographically located to allow beginning teachers to meet the requirements of the Northern Student Teacher Bursary and/or Northern Alberta Development Council bursaries
Whispering Hills Primary School is located in the Town of Athabasca and serves approximately 300 students from Kindergarten to Grade 3. We enjoy the benefits of being an APPLE School as we partner with many organizations to promote active living and healthy eating while focusing on developing strong literacy and numeracy skills in a safe, caring, welcoming and respectful environment.
Whispering Hills Primary School is recruiting to a Full Time Temporary Grade 3 teaching position. The teaching responsibilities include all subjects except music.
This position will commence with the start of the 2026-2026 school year on August 25, 2026.
