Working Title Graduate Assistant (Athletic Training) Brief Summary of Job Description The Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer works under the supervision of the UNK ATEP Program Director, Clinical Coordinator and other Kinesiology and Sports Sciences Faculty/Staff. The graduate assistants for athletic training are part-time (10 hours/week) positions during the regular academic year.
Job Duties
• Develop, conduct, and disseminate the own research /clinical case study in a topic of athletic training
• Assist with athletic training program related class and lab
• Oversee the Athletic Training Lab and the Applied Sports Science Research Lab
• Oversee the Open Injury and Rehabilitation Clinic with faculty mentor
• Assist didactic clinical and professional development in Athletic Training
• Attend student recruitment events
Required Qualifications Accepted into The Master of Athletic Training graduate program at the University of Nebraska Kearney.
