Use evidence-based practice and professional reasoning to recommend the most appropriate team of supports, therapy, duration, location, and timing. Develop effective and strong working relationships with people and their families, identifying and addressing factors that may affect relationships, and repairing breakdowns in a timely manner.
Enhance people's capacity to make their own life choices and increase their independence. Approach risk positively to achieve quality-of-life outcomes, while ensuring safeguards are in place to protect the rights and well-being of the most vulnerable.
