As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our staff to support student learning and contribute to the development of a positive and engaging learning environment.

The Opportunity:

• Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant

• Secondary School

• Must hold a subject related degree (2:2 or above)

• Aspiring Teachers

• Pre Teaching Training Program

• Heywood, OL10

• Monday to Friday - Full-Time (35 hours per week)

• Term time only

• £480 - £500 per week

• Be available to start in September

• Training provided

The successful graduate must:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree

• Be able to demonstrate adaptability, resilience, and integration in both one-on-one interactions and collaborative work with colleagues and young learners.

• Have a genuine interest in education and helping students achieve their potential.

• Be organized and manage time effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in the delivery of lessons and classroom activities.

• Assist in the management of classroom behavior and maintaining a safe and positive environment.

• Good subject knowledge and to be able to apply that in the classroom using adaptive learning techniques.

• Able to work with students with SEND, able to lead interventions 1:1 or within a group.

• Help with administrative tasks including monitoring our young learner's progress and attendance.

• Provide feedback on our young learner's progress and help identify areas of improvement.
