The Opportunity:
• Graduate Teaching Assistant
• Primary School
• Manchester M40
• Must hold a degree (2:2 or above)
• Monday to Friday - Full-Time (35 hours per week)
• £480 - £510 per week
• Term time only
• Pre Teaching Training Program
• Be available to start in September
The successful graduate must:
• Have a Bachelor’s degree
• Have strong English and Maths abilities
• Show passion and commitment to become an effective practitioner who can adapt to meet needs, including SEND and EAL
• Be able to work with children from highly disadvantaged backgrounds without judgement
• Be able to demonstrate adaptability, resilience, and integration in both one-on-one interactions and collaborative work with colleagues and young learners.
• Have a genuine interest in education and helping students achieve their potential
• Embrace a high quality continuous professional development and a have a high attention for detail
• Be organized and manage time effectively
Key Responsibilities:
• Support teachers in the delivery of lessons and classroom activities.
• Help create and prepare teaching resources and materials.
• Assist in the management of classroom behavior and maintaining a safe and positive environment.
• Help with administrative tasks including monitoring our young learner's progress and attendance.
• Provide feedback on our young learner's progress and help identify areas of improvement.
