Join our team as a Graduate Treasury & Finance Risk Analyst on a two-year fixed-term graduate programme! In this second-line role, reporting to the Treasury & Finance Risk Senior Managers, you will play a key part in providing oversight across the Treasury & Finance, with a focus on financial analysis as well as operational risk, control, compliance, and conduct oversight.

You'll work closely with various Risk teams, including Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Enterprise Risk, and Compliance & Financial Crime, ensuring comprehensive support and fostering a proactive risk management culture.

As Aldermore continues to grow in scale and complexity, your role will be critical in supporting the Group's balance sheet and funding management, helping us deliver value to our clients and customers. What will your day look like?

You will report to the Head of Treasury Risk, who will handle your performance reviews, 1-1s, and development conversations.

Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting with second-line oversight of Treasury & Finance risks and activities.
• Overseeing regulatory reporting, ensuring accurate use and interpretation.
• Contributing to Finance & Treasury policy updates, aligning with FR Group processes.
• Supporting risk modelling, policy updates, and liquidity stress testing.
• Assisting in operational change programs and managing treasury operations like settlements and compliance.
• Understanding Treasury & Finance systems, data, and reporting.

You will receive full training and support while pursuing a Level 4 Data Analytics apprenticeship.

What do we expect from you?
• An economics, business, finance, financial risk and/or banking degree
• Appreciation for data analytics, controls, processes, policies and change management.
• Experience using typical Microsoft products, and other data products desirable
• Understanding of accounting principles and banking products
• Knowledge of the dynamics of financial markets, risk management techniques, and financial instruments / derivatives.
