Fulltime, 6-month position at our Hawthorn campus
HEW 5 salary + 17% super


About the Role
This position reports to the Team Leader, Graduations, Fees and Scholarships, and plays an important role in delivering high-level customer service to both internal and external stakeholders of the University. The successful candidate will be responsive to client needs and demonstrate a strong team-oriented approach to their work.

The role supports the three functional areas within the Graduations, Fees and Scholarships portfolio by assisting with student enquiries and helping ensure that each team operates efficiently and meets its strategic objectives. In the area of graduations, the position involves assisting with the processing of student awards, the organisation and delivery of both onshore and offshore graduation ceremonies, and the coordination of award mailouts.

Within the fees function, the role supports a range of activities including Commonwealth Practicum Payments, VET Student Loans, refund processes and resolving complex fee-related enquiries. In relation to scholarships, the position provides support for both domestic and international programs. This includes responding to general enquiries, assisting with the promotion and assessment of scholarships, and monitoring student eligibility on an ongoing basis.

The role also contributes to the broader operations of Student Administration and Library Services by supporting the efficient, effective and timely delivery of services across the division as required.

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

Demonstrated, relevant experience in the provision of high quality support services within a demanding, client-focused environment
Good time management and organisational skills, with ability to prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver coordinated and high quality services to a range of stakeholders
Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively to people from diverse social and cultural backgrounds

Qualifications
Completion of a diploma level qualification with relevant work related experience or a certificate level qualification with post-certificate relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
