Job Description
At Civic Waste we're a long standing supplier of services to NZ cities. We contract to Councils and Private Companies for waste removal, road/hard surface sweeping, removing graffiti, water blasting, pavement cleaning and more!
You will be responsible for the proactive and responsive removal of graffiti as prescribed by daily schedules, including jobs called in by the Auckland Council Call Centre and/or advised by management. This role will involve painting and operation of mechanical equipment such as a water blaster, disk sander, generator and chemical washing. You will also need to contribute to team target of 1000 tags per week.
There are two roles available 7am - 3.30pm (Thursday to Monday & Monday to Friday with some weekend work).
A company vehicle will be provided to the successful candidate for work purposes and travel to and from work.
Our successful applicant will have the following skills and attributes:
Water blasting or paint experience is preferred
Holds a current driver's licence (minimum Restricted)
Is physically fit and able to work autonomously
Has excellent communication and timekeeping skills
Has a positive and professional attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Is flexible and willing to adapt
Is customer focused
The hourly rate for this role is $24.70 per hour with the opportunity to earn a $200 monthly bonus.
