This role is Permanent Full-time, 76hrs/fortnight

You also have the availability to work Monday to Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm (and occasional weekend shifts when needed).

About this work area
As Graphic Communication Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Contributing to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing on the local market.
Overseeing and supporting the implementation of the complete range of customer store communication.
Analysing the impact of graphic communications inside and outside the IKEA store to suggest solutions or improvements to facilitate the buying process for customers.
Ensuring IKEA communication is clear, consistent, understandable, uncluttered and correctly placed according to graphics regulations.
Using your graphic design skills, the IKEA Concept and IKEA visual identity to create and implement graphic solutions that support commercial priorities.
Keeping updated with knowledge about home furnishing, communication, and retail design trends and to inspire store visitors.

As Graphic Communication Co-worker you have:
A strong eye for detail and aesthetics.
Driven by a passion for home furnishings and people’s lives at home.
Passionate about conveying our messages in a meaningful and memorable way.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships and influence others across many areas of the business.
Able to prioritise and organise your workload.
A practical hands-on approach to production and implementation.
The ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment to tight deadlines.
Driven by your desire to seek out opportunities that improve the way we work, minimising financial and environmental costs.
Previous experience working in Graphic Design/Graphic Communication and have completed higher education in Graphic Design/Graphic Communication, particularly within a fast-moving environment (ideal but not mandatory).
Previous exposure to Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign CC, would be preferred.
