Designation: Senior Illustrator / Graphic Designer

The goal of a senior Illustrator / graphic designer is to provide strategic and creative leadership in the field of illustrations & graphic design. As a senior professional, the role extends beyond the execution of design tasks and encompasses broader responsibilities. Here are some common goals of a senior graphic designer
Roles and Responsibilities for a Senior Illustrator/Graphic Designer job role:
Manage Files: Responsible for the documentation of all the R&D final files.
Creating visual assets: Develop visually appealing designs, illustrations, and graphics for design projects.
Conceptualizing and brainstorming: Collaborate with Design Manager or team members to understand project requirements and contribute creative ideas and concepts for visual communication.
Designing layouts and compositions: Utilize design software (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign) to create layouts, compositions, and artworks that effectively convey the desired message or story.
Selecting color schemes and typography: Choose appropriate colors, fonts, and typography styles that align with the brand identity and project objectives.
Illustrating and vectorizing: Illustrate original artwork, characters, icons, or other graphic elements. Convert raster images into vector format when necessary.
Managing and organizing design assets: Maintain an organized library of design assets, including illustrations, icons, photographs, and templates, for easy access and reuse.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams: Work closely with copywriters, marketers, and other stakeholders to ensure the visual designs align with the overall project goals and messaging.
Incorporating feedback and revisions: Receive feedback from team members & clients and incorporate necessary revisions and modifications to meet their expectations and project requirements.
Staying updated with industry trends: Keep up with the latest design trends, techniques, and software updates to ensure that the work remains fresh, relevant, and competitive.
Meeting deadlines: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality designs within the specified timeframes.
Preparing design files for production: Prepare and export design files in the appropriate formats and resolutions for printing, web, or other media as required.
Adhering to brand guidelines: Follow established brand guidelines and ensure that all designs align with the brand's visual identity, style, and tone.
Conducting research: Conduct research to gather information and inspiration for design projects, including understanding target audiences, market trends, and competitor analysis.
Providing design support and guidance: Assist colleagues or junior designers by providing guidance, feedback, and support on design projects.
