About the role
Downer is a leading provider of integrated services in Australia and New Zealand, delivering innovative solutions across a diverse range of industries. We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to support our National Strategy & Markets team by producing high-quality graphics, documents, and marketing materials that drive business growth.
In this role, you will collaborate with bid teams, business development professionals, and key stakeholders to develop visually compelling materials that support strategic pursuits, proposals, and client presentations. Your expertise in design will contribute to the success of our bids and market positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Design and produce high-quality graphics, diagrams, and visual materials for bid proposals, marketing collateral, and business development initiatives.
Work collaboratively with bid managers, coordinators, and technical teams to create visually compelling and brand-aligned materials.
Translate complex ideas and data into clear, engaging, and professional visual representations.
Develop and maintain design consistency across presentations, reports, go-to-market materials, and digital content.
Support business development and bid teams with document layout, branding, and visual storytelling.
Ensure all design outputs align with corporate branding guidelines and meet client expectations.
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably within a corporate or professional services environment.
A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to produce high-quality graphics and visual materials.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
Ability to interpret complex concepts and present them in a clear, engaging format.
Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
A degree in design or a related field is desirable but not essential.
