The Role:
Odin Wise Academy is seeking a creative and versatile Digital Designer to join our team. In this fully remote, full-time role, you will assist the Marketing Manager in creating visually appealing digital and print assets, managing social media content, and designing marketing collateral such as email templates, social media posts, and other promotional materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social media management, a keen eye for design, and the technical expertise to bring ideas to life. This role will primarily follow Indian work hours, but you will need to be available during mornings and evenings to connect with the US-based team.
A digital portfolio is required for application.
Main Responsibilities:
Digital and Print Design:
Create and edit digital and print assets, including social media graphics, email templates, flyers, banners, and other marketing collateral.
Ensure all designs align with the academy’s brand guidelines and convey the intended message effectively.
Social Media Management:
Design engaging social media content, including posts, stories, banners, and ads.
Assist the Marketing Manager in developing and implementing social media strategies.
Monitor social media channels and ensure visual consistency across all platforms.
Email Template Design:
Design visually appealing and responsive email templates for newsletters, promotional campaigns, and automated workflows.
Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to ensure email designs align with campaign goals and brand identity.
Marketing Collateral Creation:
Assist in the creation of marketing materials for programs, events, and promotions.
Work closely with the Marketing Manager to ensure all materials are print-ready and optimized for their intended use.
Collaboration and Brand Management:
Work with the Marketing Manager to maintain and enhance the academy’s brand identity across all platforms and materials.
Develop a deep understanding of the brand’s visual language and ensure consistency in all design outputs.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (or working towards one) in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Prior experience in digital design, social media management, and content creation is required.
Skills:
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Figma, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Experience with social media platforms and content creation tools, including campaign systems like Mailchimp and Hootsuite.
Strong creativity and visual storytelling abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong skills in brand management and maintaining brand consistency.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
