We are looking for a Graphic Designer to help produce materials and designs, both print and digital, for various marketing initiatives, campaigns, and promotions across the retail brands we support. As a member of the Brand and Creative services team and reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for ensuring the execution of all marketing initiatives and campaigns, collaborating closely with key stakeholders within the department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong grasp of branding, communications, and the creative process, coupled with excellent project management and organizational skills. The Graphic Designer will have a fresh eye for clean design that is complementary to the brands existing look and feel as well as possess user interface design skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into effective and practical digital resources. The candidate will be executing on a variety of retail marking channels, including email creation and coding, social media graphics, as well as occasionally developing and implementing creative content for brand websites.

What you’ll be a part of
Concept, design and code HTML-based email campaigns and associated graphic assets
Prioritize tasks as required, ensuring brand standards are upheld and timelines are being met
Develop and maintain strong relationships with brand groups, vendors, and other departments to ensure marketing projects are implemented effectively
Work closely with the graphic design team to execute email and web assets by writing copy and developing engaging content
Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to visually translate brand stores and seasonal initiatives into cohesive impactful campaigns
Coordinate and help execute seasonal digital and print campaigns
Work alongside our brand marketing coordinators to develop brand focused content for emails, social media, and other digital platforms.
Provide creative direction and mentorship to designers, sharing feedback and best practices to maintain brand consistency and elevate creative output
What you bring
Minimum 5 years of work experience with graphic design, digital media, ecommerce or related field
The ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders to drive meaningful results on time
A post-secondary education in graphic design, digital media or equivalent work experience
Experience designing across a wide range of retail marketing channels, including digital ads, email, print signage, and in store campaign materials
Knowledge of HTML and CSS in a Mac-based environment
Possesses great time management skills, is proactive and enjoys pushing the boundaries on digital design
Solid understanding of the apparel store environment and the online digital space, including how visuals drive in-store and online customer engagement
An understanding of how design choices impact brand storytelling, engagement, and conversion
Exceptional written and verbal communication, including proofreading and editing experience; copywriting experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to show initiative and bring new ideas forward; manage project plans and execute on time
Adaptable, with the ability to multi-task and manage varying work volumes and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment in order to deliver against tight deadlines
Experience with the Adobe creative suite; video editing experience a plus.
Demonstrated experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to work flex hours as required
Previous experience working in retail and/or ecommerce environments
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
