Position Overview: We are excited to offer an opportunity for a talented and creative Junior Graphic and Video Designer to join our team. Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with senior designers and creative team members to understand project objectives, visual requirements, and design guidelines.
• Assist in the creation of graphics, illustrations, and visual content that align with the brand's identity and messaging.
• Contribute to the development of video content, including basic animations, motion graphics, and video edits for marketing campaigns and social media.
• Support various stages of video production, from gathering footage and assets to assisting with editing and post-production tasks.
• Learn and apply design principles, typography, color theory, and composition to create visually appealing materials.
• Adapt existing design templates and assets while maintaining visual consistency across different projects.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging design tools, and video editing software to enhance your skill set.
• Take on design and video-related tasks as assigned by the senior team members, and proactively seek opportunities to learn and contribute.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, sharing your ideas and creative input for visual campaigns and projects.
Qualifications:
• Recent completion of a degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Film Production, or a related field.
• A strong desire to learn and grow in the field of graphic and video design.
• Basic familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus.
• Interest in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Creative thinking and a willingness to contribute new ideas to design and video projects.
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow design and branding guidelines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A passion for staying informed about design trends and visual communication techniques.
• Portfolio showcasing any relevant coursework, personal projects, or internships demonstrating your creative skills.
