Key Responsibilities:
Create eye-catching thumbnails that effectively communicate the essence of the content.
Utilize design principles to ensure thumbnails stand out and attract the target audience.
Work closely with content creators and marketing teams to understand the content and target audience.
Collaborate with other designers to maintain a cohesive visual identity across platforms.
Keep abreast of design trends, particularly in the digital and content creation space.
Apply innovative design techniques to ensure thumbnails remain fresh and engaging.
Utilize graphic design software to edit and enhance images for use in thumbnails.
Ensure all visuals meet the specified guidelines and quality standards.
Implement best practices for thumbnail optimization, taking into consideration platform requirements and user behaviour.
Receive feedback from various stakeholders and make necessary revisions to thumbnails.
Iterate on designs based on analytics and performance data.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Thumbnail Designer or similar role.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous thumbnail designs and graphic design skills.
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or other relevant tools.
Understanding of digital content platforms and their unique requirements.
Creative thinking and ability to bring fresh ideas to the table.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
Knowledge of photoshop, illustrator, digital painting, poster design and new AI software’s in designs
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in mass communication or Graphic Design or Visual Arts or a related field is preferred.
Diploma or any Professional course in design
