Requirement
Tropical Agro is scouting for a creative thinker and designer who can add value to the team and produce engaging and differential creatives to capture the attention of the target audience.
Key Responsibilities
1. DEVELOP DESIGN & ARTWORK FOR OFFLINE REQUIREMENTS
a) Develop creative artwork for
• Print ads.
• Hoardings, Kiosks, Banners and other outdoor publicity material.
• Labels & Packaging
• Conceptualize the creatives & Design label artworks for different products. Drawing the correct dimensions;
• Choosing the right image; Ensuring the correct color, font, and proper placement, symmetry, as well as overall aesthetics.
• Create mockups for options.
• Convert it into a printable file both in PDF and import to CDR
• Marketing collateral (such as posters, danglers, brochures, shelf talkers, etc.)
• Newsletters, Annual report templates
• Visiting Cards, Note Pads, Envelopes, Letterheads & other stationary items
• Brand Merchandise like T-Shirts, Caps etc.
b) Should have knowledge & familiarity with the Print product process-
• Understand the nuances of Print outcomes through different types of printing processes (like inkjet, screen print, offset, and digital) on different materials and paper types.
• Knowledge of Dieline / Keyline diagram, bleed line, cut line, safe zone & fold line to create packaging artwork.
• Ability to create artwork for spot UV, embossing, and foil printing.
c) Present digital Mock-ups
d) Coordinate with the printer for a prototype or a print mock-up to ensure color code match & layout design.
2. DEVELOP CREATIVES FOR ONLINE MEDIUM
a) Social media posts
b) E-newsletters
c) E- presentations,
d) Online Ads
e) Webpages
f) Templates
g) E-Invites
h) E-mailers
i) Internal communication creatives and greetings
3. Design infographics, graphics, product illustrations, vectors, gifs, PPTs, etc.
4. Develop Brand assets such as logos
5. Develop visual brand guidelines.
6. Product/ image touch-ups
7. Co-ordinate with various departments (internal) to procure necessary data such as images & vendors (external) such as print agencies, and photographers to ensure that the job is churned in an efficient manner.
8. Present ideas and options.
+. Edit Videos (preferable).
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
• 4+ years of experience in graphic design
• Proven experience in graphic designing with a degree/ diploma in graphic design.
• Familiarity with print production process and video editing.
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
• Up-to-date with industry-leading software & technologies, namely Ms-Office, HTML5, CSS3, Flash, XML, FTP, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, MS PowerPoint etc.
• Basic understanding of seven design principles, compositional balance, symmetry & asymmetry.
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual /visual ability, and originality.
• Should be able to determine the message the design should portray.
• Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment as the deliveries must be faster.
• Has a strong Portfolio of work especially in label /Packaging designing
