About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Graphic Designer cum Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage their creativity and technical expertise to produce captivating visuals and videos that resonate with current market trends. This role involves collaborating across teams to deliver visually compelling assets for various channels including social media, web, print, and video.
Qualifications
3-4 years of relevant work experience in graphic design and video editing.
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop. Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Proficient in Mac and PC environments.
A robust portfolio showcasing graphic design work.
Positive and innovative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented, organised, and efficient.
Experience working in a startup environment is preferred but not required.
Duties & Responsibilities
Craft visually compelling social media, web, and digital marketing assets that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement, incorporating emerging design trends and techniques.
Design and optimise email campaigns, leveraging innovative layouts and visuals to maximize open rates and click-through rates.
Maintain brand consistency across all design deliverables while infusing creativity and originality into each project.
Develop dynamic video content including editing, motion graphics, and animations to enhance brand storytelling and captivate viewers" attention.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design and video editing, continuously refining skills and exploring new tools and technologies to elevate our visual content.
Collaborate closely with marketing, content, and product teams to gather and incorporate feedback, iterate designs, and provide creative solutions to translate ideas into visually compelling assets that support campaign objectives and product messaging.
Contribute to the ideation and execution of high-impact design projects, offering creative insights and solutions to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Execute design projects with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project timelines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Assist in the creation of visually stunning pitch decks and presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition and inspire investor confidence.
Optimize workflow processes and design templates to streamline production and enhance efficiency, driving continuous improvement in design operations.
Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and design critiques, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages experimentation and idea-sharing.
Liaise with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers as needed to support design projects and maintain quality standards.
