Graphics Designer

Founded by a team of gamers and esports enthusiasts, the company intends to disrupt the Indian esports ecosystem, while providing opportunities to youngsters of the country who want to take up esports as a profession. Propelled by the idea of a holistic approach, the brand plans to extend its footprints across the entire esports ecosystem, including all its additional aspects.
We’re looking for humble but ambitious, razor-sharp professionals who can teach us a thing or two. We promise to return the favour. Like us, you take play seriously; you’re passionate about games. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the management and execution of comprehensive brand and design projects within esports. You should be a passionate gamer and share the love for esports and creativity and have experience with multiple editing software used for the art of graphic designing. You should demonstrate superior ability to engage cross-functional teams and drive from ideation to execution. The main objective of the role is to execute major design projects across the esports verticals of Newgen Gaming. This means planning, organising, and implementing consistent design principles and production processes to ensure highest design/production quality are met in a timely manner. Additionally, the right candidate will have an awareness of current trends in marketing, online communication, new media alongside strong typography skills, deep understanding of color theory, layout and an extraordinary eye for composition.

A hardcore gamer: Your passion for video game is what drove you to the industry; you love games, are an avid fan of esports, and take play seriously. More importantly, you understand there is difference even among hardcore players and you have great empathy to players that are different from you.
A creative and strategic thinker: Based on your deep empathy to an extensive player group, you employ a holistic approach to set ambitious, but attainable goals. Always with the big picture in mind, you can prioritize things and balance short-term solutions with long-term visions. At the same time, you can think out of the box to figure out solutions that work well for the local market and keep our branding vision intact.
A Curious, humble but fast learner: Esports and gaming is a fast-developing industry that keeps changing all the time; rules and experience from yesterday may not be applicable today, there is always a lot of new stuff to learn; you’re capable, yet humble, and you’re eager to learn new things from your colleagues and more importantly, from players, no matter who they are.
A Player Engager: You’re a hardcore gamer and identify with the audience, that’s why you’re great at hooking player attention and keeping them enthused. You must possess familiarity and understanding of the esports community’s unique needs.
