Job Description
Create designs, concepts and sample creatives based on knowledge of professional designs and aesthetic design concepts.
Working with clients’ ideas and managing their expectations
Consult with clients’ marketing, copywriting and other team members to create cohesive designs that reflect our clients’ corporate cultures and goals
Developing concepts, graphics and layouts, including making decisions about fonts, images, readability and readers’ needs
Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size.
Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief.
Keeping clients up to date, listening to and acting on feedback, and explaining the rationale behind graphic design decisions.
Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required.
Keeping up to date with design and software trends.
Liaising with external printers or production teams, to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed or presented to the highest quality.
Work simultaneously on different projects based on current client work requirement.
Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites and other media, including infographics
· Adaptive design eye and skill
· 4+ years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency
· Extensive experience with CorelDRAW, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign specifically with mock-ups, web design and multimedia presentation
· Knowledge of video-making
· Exceptional in creativity and innovation.
· Excellent time management and organisational skills.
· Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients
· Accuracy and attention to detail.
· An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment.
· Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
