ROLE SUMMARY
The position of Graphic Designer in MitKat will be responsible for creating design solutions. The role involves interacting with clients and understanding their needs before making design decisions. A graphic designer will work to a brief agreed with the clients and director. He will develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the MitKat client's objectives.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
• Any Graduate with 3-5 years of experience in Graphic design
• Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as Corel Draw, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and MS-Office
• Creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Meeting clients and senior management to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the project
• Interpreting the client's business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose
• Estimating the time required to complete the work and providing quotes for clients
• Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research
• Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
• Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
• Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
• Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
• Working on layouts and art working pages ready for print
• Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, account executives, web developers, and marketing team
