Job Title: Graphic Designer and Video Editor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer and Video Editor to join our creative team. As a Graphic Designer and Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs and compelling video content that effectively communicates our brand message and engages our target audience. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and execute design concepts for both digital and print media, as well as edit and enhance video footage to produce high-quality videos. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for aesthetics, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Create visually captivating graphic designs for digital and print media, including websites, social media platforms, marketing collateral, and other promotional materials.
- Develop and implement design concepts, graphics, and layouts, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate the intended message.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to brainstorm and contribute ideas for design projects and video content.
- Edit and enhance raw video footage to create professional, polished videos that align with brand standards and storytelling objectives.
- Utilize video editing software and tools to incorporate visual effects, transitions, graphics, and sound to enhance video content.
- Optimize videos for various platforms and formats, ensuring they are visually appealing and compatible with different devices and screen sizes.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, techniques, and industry standards to continuously improve skills and bring fresh ideas to projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content creation, and web development, to ensure the successful execution of design and video projects.
Requirements:
- Having creative video editing and graphics skills
- Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer and Video Editor, showcasing a strong portfolio of design projects and video content.
- Proficient in industry-standard graphic design and video editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and other relevant tools.
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
- Strong knowledge of video editing techniques, including trimming, cropping, color grading, audio editing, and visual effects.
- Familiarity with different video formats and codecs, as well as video optimization for various platforms and devices.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate them into visually appealing and engaging designs and videos.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
