Job Description: Graphic Designer & Video Editor Intern

Key Responsibilities:
Graphic Design:
• Create visually compelling graphics for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop design concepts and visual assets that align with brand guidelines.
Video Editing & Colour Grading:
• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for publishing.
• Collaborate with the content creation team to ensure video content aligns with brand messaging and goals.
Visual Branding:
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a consistent visual brand identity.
• Ensure all design elements reflect the overall brand image and message.
Collaboration with Teams:
• Work closely with the marketing and content creation teams to align design and video assets with overall strategic goals.
• Collaborate on projects requiring design input to enhance overall team efficiency.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain organized files and documentation of design assets.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and contribute to team discussions on creative strategies.
Competencies Required for the Intern Role:
Skills:
• Proficient in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
• Video editing skills using software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on visual aesthetics and brand consistency.
• Digital Marketing Diploma & Skills would be a preference.
Knowledge:
• Basic understanding of design principles and visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with current design trends and industry standards.
• Comfortable working with various video formats and resolutions.
Self-Image:
• Enthusiastic and passionate about contributing to the success of artists.
