Job Title: Video Editor & Graphic Designer Department: Marketing Location: Goregaon, Mumbai
Overview: We are seeking a versatile and creative individual who excels in both video editing and graphic design to join our marketing team. This role combines the skills of a video editor and graphic designer, focusing on crafting engaging visual content and dynamic videos for various marketing platforms. The ideal candidate will be passionate about storytelling, design, and creating visually compelling content across multiple media.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing:
o Collaborate with the Department Head to determine the production vision and goals.
o Review raw footage and create a shortlist of usable material.
o Manipulate video footage with color correction, contrast adjustment, and continuity maintenance.
o Assemble rough cuts and ensure seamless transitions and logical project flow.
o Remove background noise and improve audio quality.
o Integrate dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.
o Finalize projects for broadcasting and ensure they meet all required standards.
Graphic Design:
o Conceptualize and design marketing campaigns and all related collaterals, including logos, brochures, emailers, WhatsApp images, and Facebook creatives.
o Develop digital campaign assets for Facebook and create print ads and outdoor advertising materials.
o Design and execute point-of-sale materials and merchandise.
o Create and edit videos for social media, incorporating effects, voice-overs, and text.
o Ensure design projects are completed with high quality and on schedule, managing multiple projects effectively.
o Perform image retouching, composition, and manipulation with a strong understanding of color schemes and design principles.
Qualifications:
Experience:
o Minimum 3-4 years of experience in video editing and graphic design, ideally within an advertising or EdTech company.
Skills:
o Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition.
o Proficiency in creating animated GIFs and optimizing web creatives.
o Strong grasp of design principles, color theory, and current design trends.
o Knowledge of social media platforms and their algorithms, especially Facebook.
Education:
o Any graduate with a graphic design course from MAAC or Arena Animation is preferred; art school graduates will be given preference.
