Job Title: Graphic Designer, Video Editor, Social Media Content Creator
Company: TechSampark
Location: Hybrid (largely remote with occasional in-person meetings as needed)
Job Overview:
TechSampark is seeking a creative and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Graphic Designer, Video Editor, and Social Media Content Creator. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and digital storytelling, along with experience in creating engaging visual content for social media and marketing campaigns. This role will involve working closely with our marketing team to develop content that aligns with the client brand's voice and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, and other digital marketing materials.
• Create, edit, and produce high-quality videos for use in digital marketing and promotional efforts, ensuring smooth transitions, sharp visuals, and cohesive messaging.
• Conceptualize and design creative solutions that meet both technical and aesthetic requirements for various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
• Plan and execute social media content strategies, ensuring content is fresh, engaging, and relevant to TechSampark’s target audience.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create content calendars and promotional plans that align with broader company objectives.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends, video editing techniques, and social media strategies to ensure content remains cutting-edge and competitive.
• Use analytics tools to measure the performance of social media campaigns and adjust content strategies based on data insights.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a graphic designer and video editor, with a portfolio showcasing strong creative and technical skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects), Canva Pro and other video editing tools.
• Experience in social media content creation and management, with a good understanding of the algorithms and trends across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Strong creative thinking, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Skills:
• Experience with motion graphics and animation.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
• Basic understanding of SEO and how it applies to social media content.
• Familiarity with content management systems and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and social media insights.
