Holy Duck is a no-nonsense, new-age creative studio that focuses on branding, strategy, design, digital and logic. We're looking to grow our team across all functions and for this role are looking for folks who love getting creative with social media.
What will you be doing? Other than working with super fun global brands:
• Develop, maintain, safeguard & propagate brand sensibilities with design
• Effectively communicate a brand's voice with a wide variety of skilled graphic design functions
• Working with the digital & strategy teams to create, maintain or reinvent the voice + look of each brand
• Craft a visual language which effectively moves from brainstorming to ideation to execution, while translating into various offline and online channels
• Ability to work under direction and also independently, set priorities and handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. Thrive in a collaborative team environment
• Be a creative thinker, full of new ideas and inputs regardless of position. Bring a piece of you to the table with every collateral.
• Have a keen eye to understand, develop and maintain brand guidelines. Determine visual design preferences and build strong visual recall for every brand
• Researching, experimenting, learning and educating - to ensure that your designs and concepts reflect depth
• Be adept with working on developing collaterals which range from packaging to offline to digital. A menu, a hoarding or a social media post
• Breaking a mouse, every three months out of restless energy and excitement
• Not attending zoom calls (unless you REALLY need to)
• All you need to do is live, breathe and love design - but besides that, here are some other key criteria for this role:
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in graphic design, visual arts or similar fields
• Must have a prior work experience at an agency or design studio of work experience as a graphic designer
• Advanced proficiency in design softwares such as Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop. After Effects, Premier Pro & Animation are a certain added advantage
• Take deadlines seriously. Very seriously.
• Good at communication, taking and giving feedback along with decoding creative briefs
• Attention to detail, accountability and most importantly the ability to save file names accurately
• Self driven and knows design tools at the back of their hand
• An interest or experience with branding/crafting brands is a bonus!
• A big bonus if you're a Foodie or have worked on Food/Hospitality/Lifestyle brands
• Location: Mumbai, Bangalore
• As cliché as it sounds, we are looking for people who are motivated, high on energy and ask a lot of questions. We love some disruption to our Monday mornings and we love working with people who bring something new to the table. We also are big fans of additional ideas you get without any briefs! We promise tons of creative freedom without compromising on the ethos of the brands we carefully build. Besides that your love for any kind of beverage (alcoholic or caffeinated) would be met with equal gusto; and the same goes for food, because we are constantly eating (if it's not grub, it's each other's brains.)
