Job Title: Graphic Designer – VR Educational Content
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team, focusing on creating immersive 3D environments and interactive visuals for educational VR lessons. The ideal candidate will translate detailed educational content into engaging visual experiences aligned with international K-12 curricula. Collaboration with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and developers will be essential to deliver visually compelling, educationally effective VR content.
Key Responsibilities:
● Conceptualize, design, and develop visually engaging 3D environments, models, and interactive assets based on lesson scripts provided by instructional content creators.
● Create high-quality graphics and animations optimized specifically for VR educational experiences.
● Collaborate closely with instructional designers and curriculum specialists to ensure visuals accurately reflect educational objectives and content requirements.
● Utilize industry-standard software and VR development tools to produce immersive, interactive educational experiences.
● Conduct iterative design revisions based on feedback from educators, students, and project stakeholders.
● Maintain a comprehensive understanding of international educational standards and incorporate best practices in visual design for K-12 audiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Arts, Multimedia Design, Animation, or a related field.
● Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience creating digital graphics, animations, or interactive visual content, preferably within educational or immersive media projects.
● Proficiency with design software such as Blender, Maya, 3DS Max, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), Unity, Unreal Engine, or equivalent VR/3D development tools.
● Strong understanding of 3D modeling, texturing, animation, lighting, and rendering techniques specifically for VR applications.
● Excellent visual storytelling and creative problem-solving skills, capable of translating complex educational ideas into compelling visuals.
● Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly about creative concepts.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Previous experience designing for educational technology, virtual reality, or augmented reality projects.
● Familiarity with instructional design principles and international K-12 curriculum standards (IB, Cambridge, American Common Core, etc.).
● Experience with optimizing graphics and animations for VR performance and interactivity.
Working Conditions:
This position requires on-site presence with regular face-to-face collaboration among team members, subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders. Remote work arrangements are not available for this role. Occasional travel may be necessary for project meetings or professional development.
