Overview:
Varahe Analytics Pvt Ltd is seeking a talented Video Editor and Graphics Designer to join our team in Pune. This role involves creating and editing video content, as well as designing graphics that complement our think tank's research and help communicate complex political and social issues in an impactful way, particularly focused on the state of Maharashtra.
Responsibilities:
Edit and produce video content for reports, presentations, websites, and social media.
Design graphics for reports, presentations, websites, and social media.
Collaborate with content writers and researchers to enhance visual storytelling.
Maintain brand consistency across all our video and graphic outputs.
Manage multiple projects from concept through completion.
Understand and incorporate political narratives specific to Maharashtra into the video and graphic content.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Film, Media, Visual Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Proven video editing and graphic design experience with a strong portfolio of work.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other video editing and graphic design software.
Creative flair, versatility, conceptual ability, and originality.
Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas effectively.
Strong understanding of political narratives and the ability to integrate them into video and graphic content.
Relevant coursework in video editing and graphic design.
