We’re looking for a talented and motivated graphic & Web designer to join our growing creative team. The successful candidate is expected to produce creative designs and polished final deliverables under the guidance of Development and Marketing.
A solid familiarity with trends in design, photography, online marketing, advertising and the interactive digital space is preferred. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a team player with a positive and “can do” attitude.
Responsibilities
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to development
• Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas
• Present designs and key deliverables to peers and key stakeholders
• Work within the foundations of company brand guidelines industry best practices, and standards
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Required Skills
• 2+ years of professional design experience in a design firm, advertising agency or an in-house graphic designer role
• Strong conceptual skills, high-level sense of design, colour, layout, proportions, and typography
• Able to offer a variety of design and digital illustration solutions in a quick and efficient manner
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
• Expert knowledge in the Graphic production process
• Experience designing compelling multimedia, videos and web pieces
• Must be able to apply style guides creatively while upholding brand identity
• Able to take projects from start to finish with moderate supervision
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
• Highly adaptable, quick learner and team-oriented
• Great attention to detail, and passion for design
• Ability to work under pressure on multiple, time-sensitive projects in an internal or external team environments
