Job Description
• Design consistent and compelling expressions of the company's brand identity and follow email best practices, to ensure projects adhere to specifications and standards, including mobile
• Code responsive text and image-based emails for various campaigns using the latest HTML and CSS email oriented best practices – with a focus on code reusability
• Design and develop web-based components in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript from the ground up
• Accept creative (PSD, PDF, InDesign, JPG) files and then builds, QAs and delivers coded emails and push graphics using existing and new HTML templates
• Effectively use existing HTML email layout templates for maximum efficiency and timeliness and develop new templates as per industry trends and standards
• Create HTML email campaigns and email newsletters for internal and external communications
• Edit and update web content within several content management systems, static HTML sites
• Build, QA, and deliver HTML templates
• Test renderings across multiple email clients and ISPs (Outlook, Google, etc.) and ensure messages are mobile friendly
• Recommend opportunities to optimize email creative and campaigns based on results of executed emails (e.g., open rates, click-thru rates) and email marketing best practices
• Design primarily for websites and email social media support graphics and animations (statics, gifs, infographics, etc)
• Manage all projects from start to finish in order to meet established deadlines
• Partner with other graphic designers and take on ad hoc design projects, as needed
• Test, check and integrate all creative and data considerations for our campaigns
• Provide design support for scientific congress events by using Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint. Design and produce creative deliverables like PowerPoint slide decks, scientific posters, redrawing scientific images, interactive PPTs, Infographics, newsletters, e-mailers, flyers, brochures as per the provided guidelines and specifications
• Collaborate with Content Enhancement team, Scientific Writers, and global teams, understanding expectations, execution to final delivery
People
• Maintain effective relationships with Content Enhancement team and Scientific Writers in MedHub (and globally stakeholders, based on the project requirement) with an end objective to ensure preparing in scientific communication materials are developed to meet stakeholder requirements.
Performance
• Work on business-critical deliverables, primarily on HTML Emailers/static web pages following the provided guidelines
• Extend support to work on digital and interactive deliverables (slide decks, scientific posters, newsletters, annual reports, patient education materials and other deliverables) based on the need.
Process
• Collaborate primarily with other graphic designers and MedHub Scientific Writers to understand better on received project specific requirements and deliver the received requests on agreed time with good quality
• Provide technical support and guidance to other graphic designers, when needed
• Proactively communicating and flagging issues to Team Lead on project timelines, any issues with the inputs received from Scientific Writers
• Prioritize and manage assigned projects; adhering to the defined quality and delivering on time following the provided specifications from the stakeholder
• Designing and setting up new templates adhering to brand guidelines and manage the continuity
• Actively participate in team meetings and provide suggestions based on the need for the team
• Sharing best practices or any new learnings to the team
• Showing flexibility to meet project demands to deliver the output on-time.
• Upskill to enhance the content enhancement deliverables
• Indulge in self-learning in order to keep yourself updated with the latest developments in technologies required for the execution of work
