Job Description
As a Graphic and Web Designer, your role is to create visually appealing and functional designs for various digital and print platforms. Your responsibilities include:
Design Creation: Develop creative and engaging designs for websites, landing pages, banners, social media graphics, infographics, logos, brochures, and other marketing materials. Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and project requirements.
User Interface (UI) Design: Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for websites and web applications. Focus on usability and optimizing the user experience (UX) by incorporating best practices and industry standards.
Web Development: Translate design concepts into responsive HTML/CSS code. Collaborate with developers to implement designs and ensure seamless integration of visual elements.
Visual Branding: Assist in developing and maintaining visual branding elements, including logos, color schemes, typography, and iconography. Ensure consistency across all design materials.
Image Editing: Edit and retouch images to enhance their visual appeal and fit design requirements. Optimize images for web and print formats, considering file size and resolution.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content creators, and developers, to understand project requirements and ensure timely delivery of design assets.
Design Trends and Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging design techniques, and tools. Conduct research and gather inspiration to continually enhance design skills and deliver innovative solutions.
Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Keep stakeholders informed about project progress and seek feedback for continuous improvement.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on design deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to design standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Graphic and Web Designer, showcasing a strong portfolio of relevant work.
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Solid understanding of web design principles, including responsive design and user-centered design.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development frameworks.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and website builders.
Excellent creativity and artistic skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Understanding of SEO principles and best practices is a plus.
