Overview:
Zet’s is looking for an experienced and reliable Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is fast, organized, and able to handle a high-volume environment while maintaining excellent food quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and grill menu items including burgers, souvlaki, chicken, and other cooked-to-order dishes.
Ensure all food is cooked to Zet’s quality standards.
Set up, stock, and maintain cleanliness of the grill station throughout the shift.
Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth and timely service.
Monitor inventory levels at the grill and communicate any shortages.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including grills, utensils, and prep surfaces.
Assist in prep work when needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a grill cook or line cook (required).
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Strong attention to detail and consistency.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to stand for long periods and handle heat from the grill.
Flexibility with shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Food handler certificate
