We at New World Waihi have a fantastic opportunity for a Grocery Assistant to join our wonderful Grocery Department.
Location – New World Waihi
Job type – Full Time
Duration – Permanent
Roster will be Sunday to Wednesday 12:30 – 21:00
Great pay rate for the right person.
In this role you will be responsible for making sure our grocery aisles are replenished of stock.
The main tasks of a Grocery Assistant include:
Filling shelves and display units with merchandise.
Arranging, repositioning, and tidying shelves and displays.
Checking best before and expiry dates.
Pricing merchandise and verifying correct prices.
Keeping store clean and tidy.
Providing customer support and assistance.
Grocery Assistants need the following skills:
Ability to fill and maintain shelves and display units without supervision.
Knowledge of relevant product sectors.
Capable of working quickly and efficiently.
Precision, meticulousness, and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Very flexible approach to working hours.
Strength and physical fitness.
