Simmi Foundation is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization that aims to work for the upliftment and betterment of society. We work on creating awareness about environmental and social issues through educational seminars and interactive classroom sessions. Our focus is on creating awareness among the youth and the younger generation. We also focus on social issues, working towards educating the younger generation about burning social problems, and talking about topics generally considered taboo in our society, for instance, menstruation, malnutrition, and safety measures for women during pregnancy.

About The Internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
• Gather information, broadcast newscasts throughout the day, and interview guests
• Follow current events and present news stories to audiences in an informative, interesting, and unbiased way
• Introduce news correspondents reporting on the scene and ask them relevant questions
• Interpret and present news stories so that viewers or listeners can better understand them
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film and input music, dialogues, and effects also, ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the video

Additional Information
Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (50% of amount generated).
