Job Title: GSE Mechanic
Job Description

Responsibilities
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures on aircraft ground support equipment.
• Perform complex diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or company-owned equipment.
• Diagnose engine mechanical issues and repair (Diesel, Gas, and LP).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic start systems using necessary schematics.
• Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot Powertrain Management Systems.
• Complete vehicle repair orders and other documentation accurately to maintain quality standards.
• Communicate safety concerns and customer requests for service to management.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required, technical certification/diploma preferred.
• 2 or more years of related experience required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and comply with TSV Pool, Fleet, and DOT policies.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport-issued ID badge per the airport contract.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience with ground support equipment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulics, and performing preventive maintenance.
• Basic tool set (no power tools; these will be provided).

Work Environment
Shift options include 5:00am-1:30pm M-F and 11am-8pm M-F. There is a possibility of overtime, though it is not guaranteed. The position is contract-to-hire, typically around 18 weeks, with the exact timeline dictated by attitude and performance. Compliance with FAA Drug Test and Back ground Check is required.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
