Groundsperson/ Arborist Apprentice/ Labour
Pacific Hedge Tree Care

As a Grounds Person you don't necessarily need a lot of experience in the arborist industry, just a great attitude and a willingness to learn! You will be working to support the operations above; you will play an important part in both site set up and assistance to both climbers and trimmers. You will play a vital role in the safe execution of work for our crew. This role will provide newcomers to the tree industry with a better understanding of what we do at Pacific Hedge.

Job Duties:

Groundwork support for trimming operations.
Chainsaw , Hedge Trimming and Chipper operation/loading brush.
Assist Crew leader in job- site setup, debris removal, cleanup and equipment maintenance.
Abide by industry safety policies and procedures.
Raking up/ leaf blowing job sites.
Rigging down limbs.
All Applicants Must Have:

Steel-Toed Boots
Reliable Transportation and drivers license are required.
Work Environment

This position is 100% outside. Individuals will be subject to varied weather including extreme heat and cold, and rain. Individuals are encouraged to wear layers and sunscreen when required.
Additional Information

Part time work
Occasional overtime required.
