Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assigned job tasks/duties are not limited to the essential duties and responsibilities: • Routine cleaning of all common areas (community room, restrooms, laundry facilities), maintaining safe and sanitary conditions for residents and site staff. • Periodic window cleaning of common areas. • Perform daily grounds pick up for trash, weeds, debris. • Rent ready cleaning of vacant units which may require heavy duty cleaning at times. • Stocking paper/cleaning products, taking inventory and submitting order requests to the site manager. • Assisting the site manager, maintenance technician and grounds technician with special projects. • May be required to work outdoors assisting grounds technician with snow removal and other seasonal projects. • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities. • Periodic maintenance of trees, shrubs, turf, and landscaping features. • Ability to spot dangers, hazards, or repair items for maintenance technician. • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs. • Follow all health and safety regulations. Qualifications: • At least one year of previous janitorial experience. • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). • Ability to lift 50 pounds, sit or stand for long periods, and walk upstairs and on uneven ground at times. • Basic computer skills. • High School diploma or equivalent (GED). • Will be required to obtain valid Nevada State driver’s license within 30-days of accepting offer if one is not already possessed.
