Job Summary:
Asymmetrique is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Head - Copy to lead and manage a team of copywriters responsible for creating compelling and effective copy for our ecommerce clients. The Group Head - Copy will be responsible for developing and executing copy strategies across various channels such as performance marketing, social media, email marketing, display advertising, and other digital marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing, excellent leadership skills, and a strong understanding of ecommerce marketing.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of copywriters to develop compelling and effective copy across various digital marketing channels for ecommerce clients
- Collaborate with account managers, designers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute copy strategies that meet clients' business objectives
- Develop and maintain copy guidelines and best practices for the company
- Review and provide feedback on copy produced by the copywriting team to ensure that it meets clients' objectives and is of high quality
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in copywriting and ecommerce marketing
- Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of copy and make recommendations for optimization and improvement
- Manage relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction with our copywriting services
- Provide guidance and support to the copywriting team to ensure they have the resources and skills necessary to succeed in their roles
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
- Managed a team of 2 or more copywriters
- At least 7 years of experience in copywriting, with a focus on ecommerce marketing
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to create compelling and effective copy across various digital marketing channels
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
