Group Financial Accountant

Ascent Recruitment is pleased to exclusively support a successful business near Wilmslow searching for a Group Financial Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly Group consolidation process.

• Prepare and present the balance sheet and cash flow statements for inclusion in the board pack.

• Lead the preparation of half-year and year-end consolidated financial statements, as well as subsidiary accounts, ensuring full compliance with IFRS accounting standards.

• Manage the creation of audit committee papers and serve as the primary contact for auditors.

• Prepare calculations necessary for bank covenant reporting.

• Provide ad hoc financial support across the business as needed.

Key Skills and Experience

• ACA or ACCA qualification.

• Proficiency in Group Consolidation processes.

• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards, with experience in preparing or auditing IFRS financial statements.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Experience working in large organizations is preferred.

Salary and Benefits

• Circa £60,000

• Bonus – 15%

• Hybrid working
