We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Group Manager Application Developer to join our Asset Servicing team. This role is located in Pune/Chennai India - HYBRID/REMOTE.
Instruction Capture Team Lead
This role will provide technology leadership to several agile teams aligned to the Asset Servicing Instruction Capture Function. In addition this role will contribute to the architecture and build out of the next generation platform. Team lead / management experience essential. Experience leading and delivering technology projects in Financial Services industry desirable. Knowledge of trade lifecycle, custody and messaging standards like Swift is desirable.
What is expected:
• Design and architecture for solutions built as part of the project with particular focus on developing a sustainable DevOps model
• Manage and oversee the contributions of developers across teams
• Accountable for the code produced by the team - code quality, test coverage and compliance to cyber security standards
• Set coding standards/ best practices within the team
• Work closely with program manager/product owner on grooming stories, backlog prioritization and tracking and communicating progress
• Face off to and manage business and technology stakeholders across the organization, including product owners, other technology teams and technology/business management.
• Follow and promote Agile practices especially Scrum
• Ensure consistency with and synergy across the global platform by collaborating regularly with peers.
• Desired technical Skills:
• Advanced knowledge of Distributed Architectures, Event Driven Design and Microservices
• Experienced in Scrum and Agile Methodologies
• Experienced in Java, Spring, Relational Databases, MQ and Kafka
• Expertise in design and development patterns and anti-patterns
• Ability to drive the quality coding and hands on experience with tools such as Sonar, Checkstyle, PMD, FindBugs
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Knowledge of front end technologies like Angular JS, webpack would be desirable
