About The Role
Join our dynamic team as the Group Manager of Communications & Media at Genesis Energy. This is an exciting time to join Genesis and a great opportunity to lead our External Communications and Media team, strategically engaging with stakeholders through both traditional and digital channels to enhance our reputation and align with the company's vision. You will play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining our public image. This will include:
leading the design and implementation of strategic PR, processes, channels and initiatives to shape and manage Genesis' narrative, profile and reputation;
advocating for Genesis Energy's vision and business goals across all public channels;
working on collaboration with the Chief Executive, Executive team, and Investor Relations team for positive communications outcomes;
facilitate the provision of PR, media advice to the business including reactive media relations and crisis management;
enhance Genesis Energy's corporate social media presence, working with customer and marketing teams to meet social media objectives.
About You
We are looking for an energetic, strategically minded, proactive leader who is a team player and can drive our communications agenda and work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Our ideal candidate will have:
tertiary degree in journalism, public relations, communication, arts, economics, business, or a related major;
extensive experience in listed company communications roles or public relations consultancies;
deep experience with proven track record of dealing with national news media, social media and digital channels, and diverse stakeholders;
experience working with senior executives to gain their trust and confidence;
proven ability in publication development and process management.
