Five (5) years of work experience in Group sales
Experience selling in a resort environment
Travel up to 50% of the time (domestically, internationally, and to Aruba quarterly)

Responsibilities
As a Groups Sales Manager, you will support these areas which are at the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and are important to Hilton's ability to achieve profitable growth
On the Group Sales team reporting to the Director of Sales, you will work on projects including the development of sales strategies to attract group business to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals
Manage relationships with corporate clients and maintain client databases
Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients for group events and accommodations
Implement marketing strategies necessary for attracting clients while maintaining a clear understanding of hotel policies and ensure compliance
Carry out research and analysis to identify new markets and business opportunities
Travel across the USA to initiate new sales, solicit leads, hold conferences, and make sales proposals and presentations
Respond to inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food and beverage services, etc
How You Will Collaborate With Others
Work with the Director of Sales, the Director of Revenue, and the General Manager to develop the sales and pricing strategies during the weekly groups pick-up calls and revenue calls
Partner with the in-house group managers to facilitate the turnover of the definite groups to property
Collaborate with the HSW team in charge of the intermediary partners and the Aruba Convention Bureau leaders
Creation and execution of sales plans to reach or exceed sales targets to attract group business to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals
