The Test Automation will interact with various teams in multiple locations in order to deliver tightly integrated global solutions. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and will have a strong sense of teamwork and personal responsibility – this person should be technical strong as self driven but required inputs will be given from next level

Your key responsibilities
• Critical to have very good knowledge and hands-on experience of Test Automation - should have been a lead in design and implementation of an Automation Test Framework as well as test creation. Hands-on with the Web-Automation tools such as Selenium & Web Services automation using JAVA will be required.
• Experience of Working in Core-Banking Modules – with good exposure to User Acceptance Testing with interaction with Business will be required . Working in Legacy Systems ( Tandem /Mainframes ) will be an advantage.
• Should have exposure to the latest technologies including JAVA 1.8+ with RDBMS Oracle-SQL-PL/SQL JDBC , using the tools like IntelliJ, SQL Developer, Fabric-DAP Console, JENKINS, Maven , Exposure to Continuous Integration & Deployment tools , including knowledge on Micro-Services with good hands-on experience in API , SOAP - REST Services with message broker tools like MQ, KAFKA. Exposure to BDD- Cucumber Framework or similar is essential.
• In this role, the candidate should have a keen eye for detail, an analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude, excellent communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• The resource will be expected to take an Test Suite Creation /lead role in creation of a solid automated framework and test bed. They are to work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle and liaise with the development team to identify system requirements and correct test coverage is provided.

Your skills and experience

1. Participate in the software development lifecycle, for targeted Software Components in accordance with the functional / technical solution design, data mapping as well as product backlog.

2. Follow Agile (Scrum) development practices and help to maintain code quality, organization, and test coverage.

3. Should have a Very Strong Understanding of Core-Banking Modules with good Business flow. Good hands-on & Exposure to User Acceptance Testing will be an advantage .

4. Thorough documentation & maintenance of all the Test Evidences with new techniques to adopt & complete the same as per the Project schedule – will be critical for UAT – Business Testing .

5. Participate in design and code reviews as well as Integration testing. Contribute to the measurement and analyses of the code, for optimum quality and performance.

6. Engage with technical architects, business analysts, developers and product team to promote system enhancements.

7. Track and report test and automation progress to Project Managers, Scrum master as well as system Architect and developers.

8. Continually help to improve the performance of the team in regards to Agile /Scrum practices.

9. Provide support for technical infrastructure components and actively participate in issue resolutions via QA practices targeting defects/bugs.

10. Analyse user stories (with developer + FA), and actively participate in Sprint reviews.

11. Design and implement test architecture for test automation. Continuously monitor and improve functional performance of test automation.

12. Implement QA practices including test case preparation and execution.

13. Debug test scripts; identify and prepare test cases.

14. Identifying and create test data for test case execution.

15. Utilize Cucumber, JIRA, JUnit, Maven, log4j, HP ALM, IntelliJ/Eclipse, Selenium WebDriver, Agile –Scrum, SDLC, Java, Unix, Web Services Testing/SOA Testing, JMS Messages Testing, Testing Data Transformation, and Data Cache Storing.
