About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Growth Marketer to take these products from silent potential to breakout traction primarily through organic channels. This role isn’t about ticking boxes. It’s about creating momentum. You’ll own how the world discovers, experiences, and trusts these products across social, product launches, communities, and unconventional GTM experiments. We’re not looking for a title. We’re looking for someone who gets things moving. While our pentest platform is well-known, three of our most exciting products — DAST, API Security, and Cloud Security Scanner — haven’t had their moment in the spotlight. That’s where you come in.

Note: This is a hybrid position, you will be expected to spend 2-3 days/week in-person at our upcoming office in Chennai. We are looking for full-time individuals, not agencies or freelancers.

Responsibilities
• Organic Growth for DAST, API & Cloud Products
• Your top KPI? User sign-ups from organic channels for these three products.
• Co-ownership of Product Launches: Partner with our growth team to launch new products from scratch, owning the organic motion from PH launches to first customer stories.
• Product Storytelling & Use Cases: Translate features into compelling narratives across social, email, and community platforms. Create case studies and social proof where it currently doesn't exist.
• Always-On Awareness: Turn Astra’s newer products into regulars on people’s feeds through high-signal social content, use-case videos, referral ideas, and micro-influencer collabs.
• Email Drips That Drive Trials: Nurture our existing list toward trial and product usage, especially for unlaunched or under-marketed products.
• Free Tools, Marketplaces, and Engineering-as-Marketing: Collaborate with the dev team to launch free tools or lead-generation projects. Explore listings on AWS, GCP, Azure, and compliance platforms.
• Community-Led Discovery: Run webinars, events, or topical moments (e.g., emerging vulnerabilities we detect) that create a buzz and convert curiosity into users.

KPIs Your Work Be Measured On
• Organic sign-ups for: DAST, API Security Platform, Cloud Security Scanner
• MQLs from Organic Social and new channels - explore & scale these avenues
• Product discovery & GTM execution for products currently under-marketed.
• Top-of-funnel reach & engagement driven through organic efforts (Social, email, community, etc.)

Qualifications
• You’ve launched products with limited budgets and high creativity, without solely being dependent on ads.
• Outcomes, not ego drive you—"let’s make this work" is your default mode.
• You think distribution-first and can turn ideas into traction.
• You’re excited about security, but don’t need to be a cybersec nerd to tell a good story.
• Bonus: You’ve shipped something on Product Hunt or built growth via microtools, influencers, or scrappy hacks.
