liInspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems!/li
liHydrate electric equipment according to the Hydration Schedule/li
liRepair all non-motorized equipment./li
liAble to program and understand the functions of the Rapid Charger, including the Battery Monitor and Identification Device (BMID)/li
liRepair and replace all tires and wheels./li
liPerform monthly, quarterly and annual quality control checks on the equipment./li
liMaintain records relating to maintenance./li
liDrive and operate service equipment vehicles./li
liAble to perform an accident inspection on involved equipment./li
liReport all accidents to Shop Supervisors and Managers/li
liAnswer all radioed repair calls on the ramp./li
liEnsure our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing proper preventative care to equipment and timely repairs to broken equipment./li
liMust be able to safely operate all vehicles and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) -Perform Daily Equipment Checks (DEC’s)/li
liMaintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures./li

li3 to 5 years mechanical experience/li
liMust be 18 years of age./li
liMust possess valid US driver’s license./li
liMust pass pre-employment background, physical test and a drug screen./li
liAbility to proficiently read, write and speak English./li
liMust be comfortable lifting/moving 70lbs./li
liMust be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays./li
liMust be comfortable working in all weather conditions./li
liAll mechanics are required to perform all duties of the other positions, as needed do to operational need; Example: a Level I Mechanic may need to perform tasks of a Level III when directed./li
liMust be able to obtain and maintain all required Airport Badge/li
liMust have a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience./li

pThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts, high voltages and high hydraulic/pneumatic pressures./p
pThe employee is also frequently exposed to very loud noise levels, fumes or airborne particles and hazardous substances, materials or waste. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places. Must have Electrical, Maintenance, and computer knowledge. Under the daily supervision of the Maintenance Manager with assistance as needed from the Station Manager./p
pPerforms periodic maintenance and inspections on filters, pumps, valves, tanks, pressure controls, metering and gauging equipment, company vehicles. Troubleshoot and repair above mentioned equipment as well as pipeline issues, electrical equipment, motors, switch gear, and lighting. Ensures that all work assigned is performed in a timely fashion with quality workmanship. Ensure through definitive methods that product meets or exceeds quality standards set forth; ensure all work is completed in a timely manner, contributing to an efficient operation, while projecting a professional image for MENZIES AVIATION./p
