ALG has an interesting opportunity as a GSE Mechanic with our client that is a renowned airline in Singapore. This is an ongoing contract position with the company.
Motorized GSE Mechanic
Working hours: 0800 - 1730
Job Description:
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on a fleet of vehicles (e.g. airtugs, sedan, van) and motorized ground support equipment (e.g. GPU, ACU, ASU)
• Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical equipment e.g. engine, generators
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulics and electrical system in an equipment
• Able to read and understand schematic drawings and manuals
Non-Motorized GSE Mechanic
Working hours: 0800 - 1730 (rotating shift)
Job Description:
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of non-motorized ground support equipment and tools as per manufacturer recommendations
• Monitor next servicing dates and calibration due dates and ensure that equipment is serviced and/or calibrated before the due date
• Perform daily housekeeping of workshop area and ensure proper storage and accountability of all equipment and tools
• Perform daily sweep of aircraft bays, carry out on-site inspection and repair of GSE and decals as required
• Rearrange GSE to allocated aircraft bays
• Keep proper documentation of all maintenance carried out
Job Requirement:
• Experienced GSE Mechanics and Fresh ITE/Diploma Graduates are welcome to apply.
• Possesses LTA Class 3; Airside Driving Permit and/or Class 4 would be an added advantage.
• Physically fit individual.
