We’re looking for a Cold Email & Outreach Specialist
to help GradeLab connect with schools, universities, and educators across the globe.

What You’ll Be Doing
Campaign Development
• Plan and execute targeted cold email outreach campaigns for schools, universities, and edtech partners.
• Research academic institutions and identify the right stakeholders (deans, HODs, assessment heads, etc.).
• Segment audiences based on geography, institution size, and engagement intent.
• Continuously refine outreach angles and campaign strategy to maximise response rates.
Content Creation
• Write personalised, persuasive, and context-rich cold email copies that resonate with educators.
• Build dynamic email sequences for different stages — awareness, demo booking, and partnership follow-ups.
• A/B test subject lines, personalisation, and CTAs for performance optimisation.
Automation & Tools
• Use outreach tools like Instantly, Smartlead, or Lemlist to automate campaigns.
• Manage and maintain clean lead databases using Apollo, HubSpot, or Google Sheets.
• Optimise deliverability — domain warmup, DKIM/SPF, bounce reduction, and inbox rotation.
• Track metrics and set up dashboards for campaign analytics.
Analysis & Reporting
• Monitor and report campaign KPIs, open rates, click-through rates, replies, and conversions.
• Use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Notion dashboards to assess impact.
• Provide insights for continuous improvement and smarter targeting.
Collaboration
• Work closely with the Growth, Marketing, and Product teams to align outreach with overall acquisition goals.
• Coordinate with content and design for landing pages and email collateral.
• Sync with founders for refining target institution lists and messaging tone.
You Should
• Have 1–3 years of experience in cold email marketing or B2B outreach (preferably SaaS or EdTech).
• Be familiar with tools like Instantly, Smartlead.ai, HubSpot, Apollo, or Saleshandy.
• Understand the technical side of email deliverability and personalisation.
• Be data-driven and analytical — use metrics to guide decisions.
• Have strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Be proactive, self-motivated, and organised.
• Be genuinely passionate about education technology and building meaningful relationships.
