Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Responsibilities:
• Register arriving guests and assign rooms
• Process group arrivals and departures
• Take, cancel and change room reservations
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to guests.
• Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments
• Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
• Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments
• Follow emergency and safety procedures
• Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
• Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
• Handle wake-up calls
• Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Manage cash and credit transactions accurately and securely.
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
• Resolve any issues that arise during the guest's stay, including but not limited to billing disputes, room changes, and maintenance requests.

Requirements:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable, organized and a team player
• Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality/ front desk is a must.
• Strong computer knowledge (experience with Room Master PMS program an asset).
• Able to work both independently and a team environment.
• Open Availability with evenings and weekend availability is an absolute must in this role. There may be some opportunity for on-call as well.
