Housekeeping Attendants & Guest Service Agents
Join the team at One North Terrace, the newest hotel in Burnie, proudly managed by 1834 Hotels.
We are currently hiring for two key roles: Housekeeping Attendants and Guest Service Agents. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing hospitality brand, working in a vibrant and fast-paced environment where high standards and exceptional service are at the forefront.
Housekeeping Attendants
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our hotel & guest rooms, ensuring every visitor experiences comfort and luxury.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and service public areas & guest rooms to the highest standards.
Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and care.
Maintain housekeeping supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order.
Follow guest privacy, security, and safety protocols.
Ideal Candidate:
Prior experience in hotel housekeeping.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work across a flexible 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
Guest Service Agents
As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the face of One North Terrace, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth front office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage guest check-ins, check-outs, and reservations.
Provide guests with local knowledge and recommendations.
Handle all guest inquiries and maintain accurate records.
Ensure a tidy and organised front desk area.
Ideal Candidate:
Prior experience in a similar guest service role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with property management systems (RMS preferred).
Impeccable presentation and a friendly, proactive attitude.
Ability to work across a flexible 7-day roster, including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
